HEALTHY HOMEMADE NUTELLA π«
Craving Nutella but want a healthier option? This homemade version is packed with flavor and made with simple, wholesome ingredients. Say goodbye to processed sugars and hello to delicious, creamy goodness!
Ingredients:
- 3 cups raw hazelnuts
- 2/3 cup dark chocolate
- Pinch of sea salt (optional)
- 1-2 tbsp pure maple syrup or raw honey
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 325F (160C).
- Add the hazelnuts to a baking sheet and bake them for 15 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly.
- Transfer to a kitchen towel and roll the nuts around to remove most of the skins.
- Add hazelnuts to a blender with sea salt and sweetener and blend until a butter is formed. Scrape down the sides as needed. This process takes time so be patient.
- Melt the dark chocolate and slowly add it to the food processor and blend until well incorporated.
- Transfer to a glass jar and enjoy! π
Tip: The more liquid sweetener you use, the firmer it will get. If you are having a hard time getting it to be creamy, you can add a little olive oil while blending.
